Wideband???
So I am buying a 2010 Cobalt SS with the RPD. I am having it shipped so I am learning as I wait...did the searches but they are all old and I want to make sure.
I read this car has a wideband already for monitoring the AFR? I saw a video on youtube that shows it reading the AFR...?? So I don't need anything??
No bung and install sensor run wiring etc etc....like in all my other cars? NO gauge etc etc...??
Plan on getting HP tuners...so will I be able to hook it up to do runs to monitor it at WOT...etc...
Thanks everyone!

The RPD displays a whole bunch of things with nothing to buy or install. I bought a RPD 2 gauge pod and I bought another boost gauge so I have my RPD on A/F and then a boost and meth gauges

Thant's what I think to it's amazing what you can get one of these car to do if you get a good tune and buy the right set of parts. I want another one so I can strip it and race it

NO lift shift, launch control...my god I had to install that crap in my SRT4...this sucker is ready.
Unsure at this point, just getting to know it. Probably not for awhile but eventually...
By the way guys I think this car did the Nuburgring in like 8:22?? Was that the SC or the turbo?

That was the turbo in completely stock form so it was down on power vs a good tune and completely stock suspension.
The drive train on the car is amazing while the rest is pretty much a slightly fancier looking cobalt.
If you're talking about switching the tranny out you have a few options, your final drive is 3.82, you could grab an LSD F35 with a 4.05 or have one built with 4.45 gears by Powell.
Edit:
Changed it to 3.82, mine is 3.86 and I always forget.

I bought mine for $900cdn. I was asking about mods because our 3.82 trans is the weakest it's a good idea to go with the LSJ 4.05 or the 4.45 if upgrading the turbo. I actually have a LSD in my garage for my next tranny build

My interests are more in mechanics and tuning with an occasional red light to red light racing, not really a corner carver....so I guess the LSD is not really important. However, I heard one of the fastest quarter mile times was achieved with a non LSD car...correct?
