Talking Woe baby !!

I just got Stage 1 installed !.....its almost as much fun as my new 2010 LS3 Camaro
The tech told me it showed as Stage 1 Stage 2 on Tech 2 , its insane having that much power with a front wheel drive car ....
I asked him about a down pipe and warantee issues , he said " look ,as long as you dont come in here with a bottle on the car , dont worry about it "...... that works for me !....cold air and exhaust, here I come !

I gotten the same thing on the work order from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet stating Stage 1 and Stage 2 installed from the flash. So I guess I'm not the only one. You should get a charge pipe to let that hotside breathe more so you can hit your maxes at 21-23 psi. I'm working on my Injen CP today because the piece connecting to the inter cooler blew off last night, so I got two t-bolt clamps ready to put on with the 4inch coupler. Good to hear you got your done, enjoy it. I'll get my dp sometime later in the summer.

Yeah, but If I were to ditch the warranty like that....I would replace both cams....then disposable shorts may be needed

Putting in the Injen CP in could be a real bitch, if you don't connect the lower piece straight as an arrow to the intercooler. I had mine blow out last night with the regular clamp after hitting it hard 10 times at 23psi. Went all over God's creation all day, just to find one T-bolt clamp and no boost! The other t-bolt clamp I took off my stock CP to use. Now it will stay one like it should without having to worry about it blowing off ever again. I recommend getting a 4inch coupler and two t-bolt clamps. The other regular clamps are fine.

I ordered all new couplers and tbolts because the stock ones were hella short. I blew off a injen coupler with tbolts but maybe it wasnt tight enough. idk install wasnt hard to drop the lower side down.

that's because you have a t-bolt clamp connected to the intercooler and a spring clamp holding the other end on your turbo. That's why it won't blow off. All done by GM, and I wonder if that was really AEM who designed the stock CP, because it has their name written all over it.

I have a hahn catless dp attached to a hahn cat back and it really isnt loud at all. In fact at idle it purs real nice and at revs its mild it only get "loud" at wot and even then not that loud. I've driven past statey's and towney's and havent been bothered.

how much did it set ya back? and is it hard to install? so far everything has been GM... just afraid the more i do to the car the more problems i may have... as in CEL's, fluttery BOV's, etc.

nope no problems at all and sound great. I bought the car with the cat back already on it, but as far as dp 300 shipped in a gb. Intstalation is simple if you have access to a lift , it's all bolt in stuff real easy to get to.
