If a company had a kit using one of these.

* Oil AND water cooled
* Low Inertia Turbine Wheel (Titanium)
* Dual Ceramic Ball Bearings
* Flexible Compressor Cover
* Forged Milled Compressor Wheels (FMW)
* High Flow Wastegates
* Speed sensor capable

The WG solenoid and BPV are just like on our K04, which makes sense since it's also a BW.

we are going to see a whole host of new improved and upgraded turbos coming out very soon. With the EPA mandating 35mpg average and increased emissions controls, turbocharged vehicles are are on the up and up, and with that, the desire to distinguish the turbochargers in more premium models, ie, audi a4's, a3's, rs3's, volvos, even the cruze. Turbos are on the absolute edge of a golden age, its just a question of how long it will last, and how fast the engineers can push the turbos through the evolutionary process. I would love to see this turbo's actual tech sheet.

That would be sick if they made one with the same flange as our KK-04. Would be nice to have one that flows 47-48 lbs/min at 22 psi.

Saw these a few weeks ago, the maps just became available. Definitely interested in making the switch.

The boost control solenoid and bypass valve look identical to our K04.

BPV and BCS look identical to our turbo as well. Looks lke they could make a nice easy durable swap. Dual ceramic ball bearings, oil and water cooled with the billet compressor and titanium turbine wheel equals major boner.

Don't we all wish. Their sizes are inconvenient for us too. The one that is estimated for 400 hp requires a bunch of boost, but it's a closer fit.

The next size up is big, and would be a PITA to fit, I suspect.

Over on the srt forum AGP is saying they should be nicely priced around 1600-1800.00 bucks. Thats pretty cheap compaired to other bb turbos.

BorgWarner MatchBot

Check that **** out... Someone tell them to make us something and we will all get on the horn...

With the right flange these would be a nice alternative.

your going to start seeing the OEM's start going to turbo's without wastegate's and then those getting passed on to the aftermarket.

They were talking about it over on the srt forums. It started out they were going to be in the 16-1800.00 range, but the msrp is 2200.00 for turbos in the 4-750hp range. Which is cheap if you ask me, ball bearing, billet compressor wheels, titanium turbine wheels, speed sensors, boost control, wastegate, and bypass all in one. **** just a good tial wastegate and bov are 600+
