Why are all the charge piping kits for the lnf 2.5"? wouldnt it be better to have 3"? Just wondering this since Ill be pickin mine up next week.

3" is a drop in feet per minute efficency, you shouldnt be increasing the charge pipe size too much larger then the turbo discharge.

^^X2 you loose velocity as well as pressure with the larger pipe.

I thought it was supposed to be no more than 1" larger than the outlet of the turbo. Same with the inlet size.

The turbo will only flow as much as the size of the outlet efficiently. Any bigger it loses velocity..
You will lose boost response with a larger pipe.

You would also have a larger volume to fill with air, increasing turbo lag...
...the whole idea of CIA's performance charge piping over it's dress-up charge piping offering.
