I think its extended so that the O2 sensor isn't stretched. Mine will be here today when I get home.

Yeah that's more than likely the reason I was just expecting something more along the lines of how CIA has theirs that's all.

The O2 bung is like that so it doesn't throw any codes. It doesn't look exactly like any other companies probably to prevent any lawsuits, but it they all do the same thing!

installed mine today. all i can say is it sounds so sickkkkk. ZZ Performance is awesome. best price, awesome quality, good product overall. as soon as i drove the car i felt like it breathes easier and when i floor it, the turbo just spools so fast. i have some videos ill post up maybe tomorow i did a 2nd to 4th gear pull and i hit 18 pounds in 3rd gear and i usually only get 15 so it definitely helped a lot. i just hope the damn computer doesnt do that learn down but i doubt it lol

I love my Catless DP . It really changes the sound of the car. It's nice a sutle until you mash on it . I reused the gaskets and so far so good. There must be a decent power increase because my car would break the tires loose rollin in 2nd once in awhile ......now it's constant.

Installed mine last night but it was anything but smooth. Love the sound but no performance gains yet. Great product.

Long extensions and deepwell sockets are your friends. Dropping the turbo end first is the only way. 20 min. job now that I've done a few.

Didn't have deep sockets or a lift so it was a pain but well worth it.

Unless you have a tune of some sort you won't see much performance out of it .

Make sure you have a 15 mm deep socket and some good shoulders. O2 sensor plugs helps too.

Hooollly christt! what a pain in the ass that was. took me liek an hour and a half. ate some dinner in between, and i think the whole neighborhood heard me cursing. 3 bolt flange on the catback with a non-deep 15mm socket SUCKS. finally figured out a way to shimmy it off after taking exhaust hangers off. wow.

anyways, i didnt get the O2 bung so what exactly do i do with my O2 sensor? i just kinda wiggled it and tucked it back and taped it there and am gonna get it tuned out tommorow. is there some kinda cap or something they make for it? do people cut it off? what?

and by the way, this and a muffler delete with a 4" tip = holy christ loud. sounds SOOO good with the turbo spooling but omg i just ordered a megan racing 3" inlet muffler that comes with a silencer b/c this is just a little too loud for my neighborhood.

Follow the wire up twards the turbo and it just unplugs from a connector.

Well I got my install done..relatively painless and straight forward...if you're about to attempt this, I would STRONGLY recommend getting a set of ratcheting wrenches...they do wonders. It's honestly not THAT much louder thatn just the muffler delete..Kinda wish it were just a biit louder..oh well...deffinitely awesome being able to hear the turbo through the exhaust now though! Can't wait to retune for this thing! Damn rain!!!!

Sweet........Do you have good hearing? lol My car is pretty loud with just a catless DP ...nevermind a muffler delete . Were you able to open it up at all in the rain ? mine is pretty subtle at idle and part throttle but at WOT its loud.

No I haven't had a CEL due to the downpipe...

I have had mine on the car for 4300 miles now and not a SINGLE issue to report!

i said that when i first cranked it up after the install, i was like "...wow i dont hear any difference" and then i started driving it around and downshifting for stop signs and ****, and YEAAA its alot louder. ALOT. gourgles and crackles and farts like crazzzy. sounds like my buddys supercharged SS/SC with a big apexi N1 muffler on it but a little deeper and just as loud. not bad sounding, but if i can take the same sound and bring it down a few decibles, it wouldnt be too bad. all i can say is i think it does ALOT for performance as im boosting 23psi from 21 and i cant keep my clutch from slipping which isnt exactly a good thing
