if u want warranty get gm stage 2.
If not depending on how fast you want to go, i think 2.7" pulley + 60Lb/hour + tune + a catback could be bought with that amount of money and still have a reliable daily driver. Anything below 2.7 you always hear of people breaking stuff.

stage 3 w/ the coolant mods (resivior and dual pass) sounds like a total sleeper mod for warranty
gm warranty sucks anyway man! trust me when i say go aftermarket or go home. i put aftermarket rims on my car and they got pissed at me and said they will void my warranty because of it. they also said if my clutch was slipping it was due to abuse and they wouldnt fix it.. so what exactly is under warranty? i like how gm offers this new 5 year warranty but wont back anything.. gm licks nts when it comes to warranty thats all i have to say.

Save $150 more, and get TAG's Stage 2 kit.
**Warning** Be prepared to buy a new clutch after a little spirited driving **Warning**
Or you could buy their Stage 1 kit and some cabs and mounts from Intense.
For those that think their Stage 2 GMPP kits are safe for warranty repairs when something breaks, good luck. Am I the only one here to experience/see how many people are getting denied warranty work with it, and how easily GM will just blame it on harsh driving and void your warranty?

if you have an extra thousand dollars which you do i would go with gm stage 2 and heres why , it is under warranty first of all second it comes with 3 of the most important mods so look if you buy stage 2 and blow your engine with a 2.6 pulley then you can just swap your 3.0 pulley and hub back on 42 pound injectors and if you have hp you can just run your stage 2 tune that you saved and boom your ready to go to the dealer, now if you have something different like intense there gonna see intense's pulley and then there gonna complain or they might be able to see your tune. Go gm so when you mess up its a quick hour job to go back to stage 2 which still has your warranty and it gives you a SAFE tune to work off of with hp tuners which is good

Are you serious? Read my post above about how GM is not warrantying their kits! Trust me as I have been through the ringer with them already as many others are finding out as well.
