$500 for...

GMPP STAGE 2????!!?!?!?!?

No matter what I do or show the dealership they keep telling me 5 Hours of labor which will be $500, now they told me its going to be me having to pay for them to do this 5 Hour install becuase they never did it before, but the best part is, they told me an hour alone jsut to reflash the computer. So i told them forget it im going to another dealer, and then they were like no no buy the kit and come back and well check it out and then theyll decide from there, but idk im going to another dealer one last time this is going to be the 4the 4th dealer for a price on GMPP Stage 2 and all 3 before that told me the same price for install or, they never heard of it before.

Give them GM's LSJ Book that has the Stage 2 install instructions in it... i have it at home. I can tell you where to find it later. They can study that, that way it won't take 5 hours.

If you do the injectors yourself it takes off 2.5 hours according to GM. I went through the same thing with my stealership they quoted me 500 for install then i put the injectors in myself which they said would take 2.5 hours well I have never done anything like this before and it took me 20 minutes following directions.

as a dealer, I think you should tell them you'd rather trust your car with people who know what they are doing. and slam the door on your way out

ROFL

I bid on the project for $300.00.

Anyways, that is crazy. Don't go for that. If anything install it yourself. Buy from the vendors here, Christmas sale for 550.00 + shipping. Make sure you do it right the first time. If anything were to go wrong later, they have to prove it was your fault on the install.
