It's not a dwell related issue unfortunately

Pump is fuel starving; need to drill it and remove the check ball

with a bit over a half tank it would fuel cut at 6000-6100

with around 3/8 it started doing it at 5000

I had a customer yesterday tell me he's having breakup in 4th after I retuned him. He couldn't figure out why because his old setup didn't.. Then I just asked well it it faster than before? "Oh hell yeah!"
Well, problem discovered. Stop doing 2-3-4 pulls till you fix it or have a full tank lol

There's several people talking about doing a rear bolt-in sump. I think that's an ok option for anyone who's only concern is straight line. I would only worry about starving
It when you hit the brakes. Maybe run the sump to a small reserve that feeds the pump?

One other quick solution I thought of was using a small bulkhead fitting at the rear of the tank, with a small pump that T'd into the return line. This would simply keep the canister full at wot, and not waste money already spent on a good in-tank pump.

I know I only have 900 miles on my setup, but my fill pump setup has kept me fueled on few 40-140 pulls already.

Once my low fuel light comes on, I have problems with breaking up at high rpms. It's common.

I did a pull last night with just over 1 gallon in the tank (had it empty, and added 1.5 gallons after I put tank back in the car and drove to the gas station) and had fuel the whole time. Having a feed pump that sits in the back of the tank seems to be working well And its so easy.

Its a neat little trick and I'm glad you found a way to fix it so far, I just personally don't wanna mess around with two pumps. I have something nice planned out here soon for a great fuel system to feed the beast!!

I'm just used to 2 pumps since all the other higher hp cars I am around have the luxury of running a double pumper, but both supply the rail. I think with my canister gutted how it is now I could fit 2 AEM's in there, but not 2 Walbro's. Hopefully I wont have to make a double pumper for feed purposes, but if it comes down to it I may try, but I would still need the "fill pump" in the back, even more than I do now since the volume of the canister would be greatly reduced. I guess you guys aren't running out of pump, just want full use of all fuel levels. I'm interested in your plans Richie, I just chose the cheap and easy way lol

Mine is just a little more severe then you guys as our car will actually cut out and almost die. Its like hitting a brick wall. This is with normal driving and starts at 3/4 tank now. I'm personally feed up and done with it and fixing it.

John and I have found one pump to feed them all LOL!! John pointed me in the direction and I been reading up on it. Can be used as an in-tank or in-line and will support all the builds hear. Rebuild-able and used on tons of other platforms in DD and high hp cars. I'll ordered it already and I already have all the line and just need some fittings.

Infra or arm, Im of the opinion that you two should collaborate a thread on fueling systems. Would help out a lot of members and you two have the background knowledge. Could also get powell and Mr B to contribute. Just a thought. I would make one, but I dont have anything like you two are crafting.

I honestly think 95% of the problem is improper install. My car moves pretty well and I don't have fuel issues till below 1/8 tank. And that's going from a stop, it will finally run out at the top of 3rd.
