The only point of running 16s is if you are running snow tires just as a heads up. I believe you made a thread about deleting the wing and carbon fiber etc. Losing some weight is a good way to make your car slightly quicker and handle a little bit better in certain situations, however you are looking at it the wrong way.

there are some lightweight 17s, I'm running some. BUT you are very limited in your selection.

I was thinking about using my 16" winter wheels for the track. I was going to just switch off the front 2 winter tires with DR's. Not sure if thats the best choice but thats just from some1 elses opinion. Have yet to have gone to the track yet. But to answer the question I bought mine as a winter deal at sears. Not sure if I like the way the 16's drive. Kinda makes it a little difficult to drive actually imo.

absolutely

btw, ridiculously noticable weight difference from the 16s back to the stock 18's. When I change back to the 18's I really feel the added weight to my car. (for obvious reasons lol) but with those 16's the car felt like it just wanted to go
