2.5" pulley+50 shot, good or bad?

Do you guys think it would be bad to spray a 50 shot (wet) with my current mods? I need to cool down my intake temps and i think this would be the best way besides meth injection. I was gonna do a 35, 50 and a 75 shot. Let me know what you guys think.

Brian

bump anyone?

2.7 pulley and 50 shot is probably what i'd do if I were doing nitrous....but I have no idea if a 2.5 and 50 is good....someone said that there was a guy with a 2.5 running 75....but who knows

I'd do meth injection before nitrous, but I tend to shy away from the gas. Although I'd have to say I'm not a fan of 2.5 pulleys either. lol

well that was my other option i have a 2.7 pulley and i wanted to get that put on than spray with the nitrous. A kid around here is running CA's stage with the 2.7 and 60's with a 35 shot and the car loves it! But i wanna spray a 75

I think it would work, but imo i think you would yield better gains with a 2.7, since from a 2.7-2.5 its all torque, it would be less stress and more cooling with the 2.7

That's all in the tune. Unless you're saying that the stock internals on the 2.0 can't handle the power.

I don't know what the 2.0 stock internals are good till.

If I were you, which I'm not, but if I was, I'd stick with the pulley you already have, the 2.7" pulley, add a 75 shot (dry) and dyno tune it with a safe tune. You have a H/E yet?

Hell, if the stage 3 kit has algorithms for a 50 shot, there's no reason you couldn't safely spray a 75 with a good dyno tune.

I wouldn't run a 2.5 and a 50 shot. I have run a 2.8 and 75 shot, but I have backed down to a 3 pulley and 50/75 shot for the summer. You really don't need the small pulley with nitrous.

Just watch your knock and timing with any shot.

Did you do a 2.8 and a 50 shot? Curious to see where I would be with a 2.8 on Stg 2 tune, with a wet 50 shot.

That wasn't directed at you, it was to brian, I didn't think I waited too long to post it.

You made 292 on basically my setup + a 50 shot? Thats good to know. How was everything, as far as safety and such. Was timing/KR up there or anything?

Well im probably gonna goto a 2.7 and 50 shot first than try the 75 shot after that and see how the car likes it
And Joe im gonna have to wait a week or two after the nitrous to get the dual pass.

Yeah, he showed me the slip. I gave him 2-3 cars from 40-120.

i bet you would pick up close to the same power with water injection, due to your pulley size.

meth is much more expensive and i think LJavy17, the kid who tunes my car, picked up about 25-30whp and he pulls me like 4-5 cars everytime lol but i want to spray so i can beat him with the extra 15-20hp
