2.5" pulley people...

How many of you guys actually see 19psi? I've had mine on for like a month now and I don't think I've ever seen it go over 16psi. I don't care what the temperature/humidity is there shouldn't be a 3psi difference. Just curious. I think it may just be my Stewart Warner boost gauge.

I see 19psi or higher. It may be the boost gauge or the almighty belt slip. You running the Stage 2 belt? I think I am going to order the Stage 2 belt with my next paycheck and run that in conjunction with my oversized tensioner.

Nope I just put on a brand new OEM belt and have the 3" tensioner pulley also. No way that could be it. But do you really think so? I was seeing the same boost with my 2.8" pulley.

I have my original belt on with the 3" tightener but mine may be slipping. I don't do much highway driving but I may take it out today at lunch and make sure its not slipping because right now it feels like it may be. Was it the same gauge you were seeing the boost with 2.8"? Or have you put in a different boost gauge?

Remember you have to really give in second, then 3rd and you will see your max boost. Going WOT in fourth won't be nearly as close as if you pounded it in 2nd and worked your way up.

Yeah dude, but peak I have ever seen is like 16 psi. It's usually around 15 or so. IT actually hit 17 today uphill in third.

If I just jam it in fourth I get 90kpa (14psi i think?) and If I stretch her legs I get 105kpa. (almost 16psi) With a 2.8 I should be able to peak 17psi easy.

BEFORE my CAI, I'd see 19.5 psi with my 2.5" pulley. That is via Aeroforce.
