as long as you got meth, h/e, dualpass + option b and 2 step colder plugs i dont see why not. Probably a really good idea to get header/dp/exhaust while your at it.

you should have enough cooling mods. but on top of that, you should have a free flowing exhaust. If you still have the stock header and/or downpipe, then it's not ideal.

good luck and enjoy the torque!

i read somewhere online that according to eaton, anything smaller than 2.8 is all a waste. it said not to go any smaller than 2.8 because the gains would be minimal. it didnt mention anything about our cooling mods though so idk. i cant remember where i read that but i know it was on a supercharger website. sorry that prolly doesnt help ya at all. but thats why im gonna stick with my 2.8 until i decide to go turbo. if you do drop sizes and do all the mods and tuning, i would be curious to see the gains from a 2.8 to a 2.6 on a dyno. keep us posted!

As long as you have the cooling mods and a free flowing exhaust as mentioned you will be ok. Just make sure you or whoever tunes you knows what they are doing!

Im sorry but dont do that to your car. That is just ******* retarded dude. Injectors are BEYOND static at that point. 2.7 on 42s. With a 3.0 my IDCs were about 100%.

I ran a 2.9 w/ 42s and saw 113%

besides, the car just won't make good power on a 2.6 w/o meth or e-85.
Better off running a 2.8 or larger if your just gonna stick to gasoline.

With a stock intake.

It was slightly rich, but a 2.7 on 42s is nothing short of abusive on your car.

You don't NEED meth/E85 to make good numbers on 2.6. Just gotta tune it well. My buds making alomst 280whp on 91. But it will def make more power with either or and more cooling

I'm on the 2.5 and LOVE!!!! the torque.
