Is anybody running a 2.75 pulley on there 42# injectors?,and if so how long?

 

for chrissake just get bigger injectors. you are going to be reaching static flow. have fun when your car goes boom that or have fun w/ 5000 rpm rev limiter

 

You are already straining the injectors with your 2.8. Just get 60's.

 

hell you strain those injectors with a 2.9.....

please don't run a 2.75 with 42's.. that's just plain stupid!

 

A 2.9 is too much for 42's, let alone a 2.75. haha

 

Ya 42s are maxed with a 2.9....

 

The ONLY reason I was able to run a 2.8 on 42's was Meth... and even still I have 130% IDCs

 

Never said i was going to run them,was just something i was wondering as i'm actually going to get a bigger pulley but thanks for the comments.

 

Most don't a very select few do, but they typically upgrade injectors around the 2.8"

Just get 60's and a tune! You will grenade that poor little motor....

 

You will starve the motor of fuel in the higher rpm's. Do yourself a favor and get 60lbers. Do us all a favor and get 60lbers already.

 

on a 2.9 w/ 42lbs injectors im at 122% IDC. they begin to go static at 6100rpm

No way. I've got 42's on a 2.9 and my IDC's are hovering around 120% at 6100RPM...

Just get 60's. Oh, and BTW, 2.75 cutting it close to overspinning the supercharger. Not to mention making enough heat to turn the amazon into a desert.

 

oh yeah they have. some guy down in south florida had a 2.7 inch pulley on 42's w/ a 75 shot. he had a death wish for his motor. lol

wait is that not true i could of swore i read on here a long while ago someone actualy had this setup on their car i am not joking i sware i seen it somewhere

 

yeah he was on here. had "greddy" spray painted on his heat exchanger and those ricer tow hooks. lol

yeah, but that doesnt make it any better. lol

Probably not when you're that far past the max of the injectors.

i got some new parts to put in soon. i got a bwoody solid race mount, gmpp sport exhaust, new drilled/slotted rotors and pads to put in this sat or next sat. and after christmas i have a new IC pump and some 6k HID's for the headlights coming
