For 2300 $ what would be the best for hp gains

I just bought my new cobalt last week, already put new tires on it. 06 with 54,000 miles. I am looking at performance modifications. Stage kits, etc. I was wondering what I should get. I have around 2300 to spend, and Need and exhaust..though I wouldn't want anything raspy or ricey, any suggestions? . Aside from that I will be getting drilled rotors, with pads, and a raw intake. I am curious aside from all that what would get me the most hp gains... a stage 2 or 3 kit? I am new to this car so i would appreciate ANY input

Thanks!!

If I were you I would go with the ZZP stage 3 kit. Also look to them for any other parts you need they usually have it, I have always had A+ customer service and quality with them. ZZPerformance

personally i would get zzp 3inch intake along with stage 3 s/c with 2.8 or 2.7 and stage 3 heat exchanger from zzp. i would also get option b and dualpass with either longtube header or bad mad shorty header.

How much horsepower gain does a stage 3 get over a 2 with 93 octane? also, is there any way to keep the air conditioning when getting the stage 3 flash for the pcm? I wouldn't begin to know where to get a custom tune to keep the air conditioning. Also I have a 2 year warranty I would like to not void. Does this mean I would HAVE to stick with a GM kit?? Does GM even produce a stage 3?

to not void your warranty you would have to stick with them gm stage kits. gm stage 3 kit does make make you not have ac but the zzp kit doesnt. i believe its a 40 or so hp gain with the zzp kit. when you purchase the zzp stage 3 kit they either send you a canned tune or you send your pcm in for them to tune it. A custom tune is not required although it helps you get the most out of your car with your modifications.

If you want power go turbo.

Or intake/exhaust/ 2.8/60's and a 75 shot. That won't be that fast but it should deff hold you over for a while.

Would it be possible to get a gm kit with the zzp tune? to keep the a/c?? Also I though the stage 2 kit was a 40 hp gain? Is there really much difference between the stage 2 and 3 kit? I just dont know if it would be worth losing my warranty with going zzp.

Comes with bigger turbo? So with the kit you have my sc would be changed to a tc? Or was your kit initially on a SC car?

he has a turbo kit for a 2.2. Any pulley mods or tuning will void the powertrain warranty if the dealer finds out unless u get the GM stage 2 kit.

I would get (all prices are an estimate)

zzp intake $200
ZZP long tube header $520
GMPP or Corsa catback $700(they sound they best to me but everyone has their own opinion)
single pass $400 dual pass would be fine also
zzp s3 kit with 2.7 and 80's $450

you could get gm stage 3 kit with trifica or whatever tune but im not sure if it would void your warranty. it would allow you to keep ac

How much horsepower gain would I get with the TVS, also what supporting mods would I need? Wouldn't the harrop be very rough on a stock engine, pistons, etc.
