270ish whp?

Ok, well last year around this time on a mustang dyno I put down 241/228 with just a stage 2 and K&N intake. Do you think I could put down (on that same dyno same time of the year) around 270-275?

Since I dynoed 241, I have added the following:

2.9 pulley
zzp midlength combo (1.75 primaries / 2.5 dp with high flow cat)
Custom 2.5 magnaflow exhaust

Seems far fetched...but breaking down expected gains from each of the mods, I guess it seems logical to me (definitely a noob)

Also, would I dyno more with a heat exhanger or would I just hit full boost faster?

You wont lose as much gains on the top end of your run with the heat exchanger because you wont get as heat soaked. It wont help you boost faster, that is the pulley. No you wont hit 270.

Are you on the Stage 2 tune? If you are I see 250-255

If you are tuned I can see another 10 or so!

ok, first off, who cares what you put down for numbers? You should be more worried about what kind of gain you get from those mods.

I would hope you gain about 20 horses from those mods, at least. So I'm gonna guess you lay down 261 and 243, that would give you +20whp and +15wtq which is a pretty good gain for those mods. With a tune, I could see as much as +30whp and +20wtq putting you at 271 and 248.

250??? I know I asked for advice but I think that is wrong. I mean, I understand I asked. But think about it. My previous dyno (on this dyno and this time of year with stage 2 and k&N was 241).

2.9 pulley (? whp)
ZZP combo (rated 15-40 hp depending on mod level)
Catback exhaust (5-10 hp?)

I understand that hp doesn't simply "add", but you are saying that those 3 additions will give me 9 hp "at the most"????? I apparently know less than I thought

ricer math FTL, look at what everyone else is getting with similar mods plenty of people have posted up there results. Don't ask what it could gain, then nah say when everyone tells you different. Do it, see what kind of # your car puts down, and go from there

TROOF... every car reacts differently to mods.... I would give you 255-260 but 270 takes a lot of tuning to get it!

Is there something wrong or ricer about me not understanding why a header, downpipe, catback exhaust, and a smaller pulley would only give me 9 hp? Wanted to know if there was a method to anyone's opinions. One guy said he dynoed 227 with my mods....Well I dynoed 241 w/o most of my mods so that obviously suggests that every car is different.
But ricer????really? keep the gloves up...

Dood, chill! But that is the lingo man... Ricer math when you base everything on estimated power numbers!

If that were the case I'd be well over 300 whp but i'm not!
