I'll take that bet .
2 weeks ago I trailered the car 12 hours to get tuned and do some dyno pulls. Unfortunately though only got 1 pull in and had to shut it down. Had enough blow by that the car started burning some oil.
Got it home tore the motor down, found the cause, purchased some custom JE pistons .02 over, had the block honed .02 over for the new pistons, just got everythint buttoned back up last night, assuming after some break in miles everything's mechanically sound I'll get it back on the dyno next week some time.
Planning on attending gridlife @ gingerman raceway first week of October if all goes as planned

I know your full of **** the pcv has nothing to do with iat2 and running a breather has more ill effects on the engine producing hp then you think

the stock sleeves are only .060 thick you boring them .020 just made them a lot weaker I also see where you deleted that you made over 400hp on the first pull on a mustang dyno why did you delete that lol

The Custom JE pistons are .002 over & my block was honed by a local machine shop .002 over to match the new pistons. That's my fault, I typed it wrong.
lol I deleted that part bc there are too many trolls in forums. Everyone knows everything, (not directed at you mr.b) just in general, which is one reason why I typically don't partake in any discussion, advice seeking or anything.
Only reason I made this thread is bc it was brought to my attention another post had been made about my car & I thought I was finally finished and would have some results, mod list etc to post, but piston rings had other plans.
But anyways, yes on the 1st dyno pull to 9k Rpms the car did some smoking and after some diagnosing found that it was burning oil due to blow bye. Neither I or the tuner have published results from that one failed pull bc the result wasn't the best the car can do, even though it broke 400 on a mustang dyno on a decent day.

Hmm. You know that I'm full of **** eh??
When under load/boost, the crankcase vents out of the valve cover, through a hose, into the air intake, through the sc, through the intake manifold, into the head.
Stay with me here.
The air venting out of the valve cover is HOT air, said HOT air enters your COLD air intake. Being that air is HOT the iat isn't going to decrease, its going to increase. Obv. The boost is going to increase iat temps far more than anything else, but if I am able to eliminate any HOT air from entering the intake without sacrificing much/anything, I am going to being heat/hot air decreases sc efficientcy, and hp in short.

I never said that the hot pcv air was affecting my iat, I said is one of the reasons I chose to go with a pcv breather rather than a catch can, no biggie.
Essentially every decision I've made wether it be parts purchased or something dumb like a pcv delete I've gotta defend every move I've made to the trolls.
Mr. b would have done everything different than me 🤦🏻*♂️, & has criticism for everything, one can only assume he hates the playa & loves the game🤷🏻*♂️

In the end the car belongs to 315ss and he can do as he pleases with it.
