Thats good advice, but if this were always my thought, I'd have never gotten a car to begin with. Do what you can afford would be a better principle. IMO

I did intake and sportline springs first..that set me back about 450 and then I got the B&M short shifter for 150...thats 600 right there and thats a good starting point if you ask me

the only canned tunes so far that have proved they arent ****, are GMs. and those arent the best, but at least they are safe.


if your going to buy a kit, buy GM.

if your going aftermarket, buy the parts yourself, and have it PROPERLY TUNED for your car, your area.

Stage 2...
or Intake and Springs and maybe a STS or suspension goodies (rear sway bar, front strut bar)

All are a good start. Just remember, you can have a lot of power, but you need to be able to handle it and put it through the ground.

If I bought the parts myself, shouldnt I wait to get it tuned at the same time I install it? That would mean if have to tune and installed at once
