how long should a shop normally take for a deck and a hone?

it really depends on how busy the shop is. normally that can be done in a day, but any time ive taken stuff into a shop i have to leave it for a week.

with how much fuel, n2o, and meth your using you are putting to much in the cylinder I would ditch the meth or you may have a repeat failure

only running 2 10 gph this time i learned that when you let off and it shoots big blue flames you might be using too much meth

got my new pistons
the minimum side clearance is supposed to be .0015
my top rings seem tight all the others are good might have to have total seal lap these
and my pistons i got from jeff are a hair bigger 3.466 instead of 3.465 so its gunna need a hone again

GOOD NEWS

my machinest mic'd my pistons and the .001 larger is just the coating so hes telling me to put it together on top of diamond 2618 pistons have a slight skirt collapse under high boost

will be assembled this coming weekend and installed the following

Let me know how the federals do. For that cheap a price if they lasted 5,000 miles I would be ok with them if they hook well.

I have a buddy that just tracked on the older RSR and he really liked them. Unless you have them constantly hot they will last a good bit more than 5k.

piston to wall was to tight for my taste been at the machine shop since last weds for a rehone for the new diamond pistons
