its not a full intake is attaches to your stock intake, so is a small pipe and a filter

alright man, thanks. i am choosing the AEM because of the easy install and the filter it has, so i've basically been looking everywhere for something that says "will fit 2007 model cobalt ss/sc" and have yet to find it.

let's say something was to happen to your engine and you wanted warranty to cover the costs of fixing it. would you just take your AEM intake off and put the stock airbox back on?

the AEM intake is good. K&N is good too.
anything that will fit an 06, will fit an 07. except some of the computer tuning. not too sure about that, but i think thats why GM waited so long to release 07's stage 2 kit

You won't have to. Unless it pertains to the intake system because the AEM utilizes the stock upper intake piping. The AEM only replaces the airbox!

Not a problem, and good luck with it! Most dealers don't really care about an intake, and it is a pain to get that splash guard off

As stated AEM is not a full replacement intake, injen will fit the 2007 and will not cause a check engine light.

Also we have a few K&N intakes for an extreme low price, we can't post the price you will have to visit www.TurboTechRacing.com to see it.

I have AEM on my 06. It sounds great and has no Check Engine Light at all and hasn't since I put it on. It looks stock because you don't actually see the pipe from the engine bay like everyone has already said, so if the dealer looks at the engine, they won't know ****.

What the guy earlier was saying is that a dealership can't void your warranty because of the AEM Intake unless the problem was specifically caused BY the intake.

I got mine from Cobalt Performance Parts 190$ shipped. Dryflow FTW, the only thing that sucks is that the intake is so much more of a PITA to put on a cobalt than it should be (or than it is for any other car lol).

AEM ftw!

true, which is a good thing, in some cases. but i have heard so many bad stories about the injen intake rubbing and getting cracks in it and what-not. did they fix this problem?

has the stated K&N intake been said to cause CEL's? Is a lot of oiling required? Thank in advance.
