AEM cold air intake????

AEM cold air intake????

does anybody know why this cold air AEM intake is so small and doesnt replace the whole stock intake?? it only replaces just the bottom part and the filter..does anybody know why that is/if u do please help me out cuz im kinda pissed the i spent like 220 dollars when i could of got a different brand and it could of been the whole thing

lol, hahahha, thats how they are made. i have the same intake. it uses the stock piping then it uses their straight pipe with maf mount. its a good setup if you wanna look stock and still have awesome power. the stock piping is bigger than most other intakes anyways. your not losing any performance at all

The most restictive part of the stock intake is the air box and filter. the rest of the stock tubing is fine for a near stock lsj. although 220 is quite abit to pay for just that. imo

I agree cole, OP wants to be able to pop their hood and say it has a cold air intake yo. and a nos fogger system, it hasssssss direct port nitrous injection....

I bet if he hits the nnaaaawwwwwwsssss the pasenger side floorpan will fall out. and at the end of his racing, the mad scientist and vin diesel are going to have to replace the piston rings he fried.
