Question aeroforce intercepter/boost gauge help

i dont know where to ask this but i think it might go in here...if not please move to right spot...


im about to get a aeroforce intercepter and dont know which one to get...i have a redline...so do i get the pt series or the cn series...thanks...

LSJ cobalts use PT so I would think redline is the same

If you don't mind, I would also like to ask how to use the gauge to read "true" A/F ratios?

You can get a wideband add on kit, that included the sensor and wires. You hook it into one of the analog inputs of the gauge.

thanks...


would a boost gauge from a cobalt work in a redline...i have the wires and all just need a new boost gauge and the only ones i can find are for the cobalts

exactly, which is why most people get one interceptor and one wideband gauge

as long as you have it wired properly any boost gauge will work

But an interceptor monitors like 50 other things on top of AFR. Thats not really it's purpose. Unless you are running dual interceptors.

Hmm well im not sure if the harness would be the same for the cobalts as in the redlines.....some one else know?

Or even cheaper, just buy a mechanical gauge. Easy to install and they are like $80 bucks

$189 for just the extra wires for the wideband sensor? Is that what he meant?

If you put in an interceptor, it should read boost off the PCM as one of the many paramaters it reads.
It would be labled MAP/Vac or something like that.
