Make sure the plug from the sensor to the long wire that goes to the gauge is plugged in the right way and isnt corroded. If its not swinging back and forth from the 14.5 you stated and is just sitting there you either have a bad sensor or bad connection
Look, im not meaning to sound like an *******, but if you dont own one or know anything about it. Why comment? I've owned 2 of these widebands. First one was in my cobalt and the new one is in my truck, which i just installed myself. I drove for a week with the band installed and wired up but not getting any readings because i was waiting to get into a shop to get the 02 bung welded. That being said, during that week my reading just sat at 14.7 the whole time.
So either the OP has a bad sensor, the wire isnt hooked up to the sensor or the wire isnt hooked up to the wideband.
Once again, not meaning to sound like a *******, so im sorry if it comes off that way.

Like I said, it was a relevant question. I commented because I was trying to help and get more information since the op didn't really give much. If you don't want to sound like an *******, don't nit-pick and call out people for not having first-hand experience.
There was absolutely no reason for you to call out my comment other than you being an *******. Don't be sorry, just skip over **** like this from now on. If you had posted that information about your "first-hand" experience to begin with, this thread would have been over by the third post. Also, if you didn't pick up on it yet, I am trying to be an *******...

I did post it, nice and clear, the sensor is faulty, the wire is either unplugged or damaged at either end. /thread
mines does the same thing but from time to time it works when it feels like it but i dont trust the readings. i've been lazy but what im going to do is take out the sensor and clean it and see if that does the trick. i was running on a 10.0 afr for 4 weeks about 6 months ago when i turbo swapped and i was constantly romping on the car so i think all of the gunk just clogged the sensor. if cleaning it doesn't work then i have to buy a new sensor and ill be golden.

Duh...
like most have said, faulty sensor/bad connection, make sure your power/ground wires have a good metal to metal connection (no paint inbetween!),
my sensor was crap and my gauge did the same thing, i bought a new sensor and it works like a champ now....
the aem uego wideband doesnt requre any calibration....

its mounted in the right spot because it was reading accurate for 3 months. its when i ran the car rich on the turbo conversion when it started ****'n up. i had to run rich for awhile because i didnt have time to tune it right away. there was no knock and it was reading 10.0 so the car was fine during that time period.
In the summer mine ran at 14.7 for a long time almost never changed. Then I put on my ZZP 3" intake, and then it fluctuates not a little with changes in throttle position.
I say almost never changes because when I stomped on the gas, it would drop, to like 13 then 12 then like 11 or so.
Now that its winter and colder out, when I start up in the morning after the sensor warm up (During sensor warm up it reads 19.8) it reads 12.whatever, and then slowly rises, for the most part it matches or is close to what my Interceptor reads as Command AFR. After a minute or so of the engine idleing/running mine comes up to 14.5 or 14.7 or so. Its been a little less stable since I added my ZZP 3" intake, probably because i'm still tuned for the K&N's typhoon, wich is abit smaller. But my fuel trims went up
from arround -17 to -10.. and now that its cold winter they are almost at 0
