hey bro, yes you do need tuned for your mods...... anything you add to the car youll need to tune for if you want to power to come with it. some things like the header, intake can skew trims so bad itll cause a lean or rich code and start damaging things.

Ok, with those numbers I thought I would. I guess I'll hurry up and buy my smaller pulley and cooling mods. What do you think about "can" tunes? Was going to buy the zzp stage 3. Should I use that as a base tune, then have it dyno tuned?

I was told I needed to be around 11.8-12.5 wot 3rd gear pull. That's a "good" tune. 10.2 is way to lean I think.

without a tune those are about right as your fuel trims are skewed from the added air flow. and 10.2 is rich not lean. granted i'm a 2.4 but i've seen mine hit as rich as 11.2 on a WOT pull

At what RPM does your injectors go static?

For fun, I am running the stock tune, stock injector and stock pulley and all the normal bolt ons. I hit 100% IDC at 5095rpms

ok if your boost gauge says 13lbs till redline and your wot fueling is 10s, yes your rich. If you get it tuned you will be better off of course, but gm kits are in the 10s. Do i recommend it getting tuned yes of course. If your not done with your mods and you plan on doing them soon just wait to tune till you get them. Just dont be wot happy.

Yea, thanks man. I've been nice to it since I seen those number. Just putting around it's ok. I want the zzp stage three with the 2.7. Are their tunes good?

Canned tunes suck period. So i wouldnt if u have a tuner near u if not u will be fine but u will still need truly tuned after some time.

Don't bash canned tunes just so you can make a quick buck flashing a revised canned tune to another persons car.

Yes there are better ways to go. But the ZZP and OTTP tunes are viable options for those who don't have a tuner and don't want to pay for a wideband.

^^^^Lmao first off i make my own tunes idiot. Second off hes better off getting it tuned instead of a canned tune. When i have someone come to me with a canned tune i put my tune on and revise.. Soooo shut the f*** up oh and forgot this as well, do u see where he lives if so how the hell will i make a quick buck when i wont be tuning him.
