meaning engine misfire detected on cyl # 4, im gonna change the plugs tomorow, anyone else got any ideas, it was weird, cuz car was running great than it backfired arund 6800 rpm and shot flames, and than also my dipstick popped out so i had to pressure wash for 3 minutes to get it clean

there is a tsb for the dipstick popping out.
Gm uses a different intake manifold gasket.
im not sure about the other things you listed, if it makes you feel better i through a p0101 code tonite;P

damn dude... 2 of motors that blew up by me did the exact same thing...
one had a hole in the piston other the ringland broke off...
wish you luck man...
and I think that intake manifold thing is complete bullshit... where is positive pressure going to enter the crankcase to blow out the dipstick , and of course a **** load of oil, through the intake manifold...

yah i ran lean i watched my guage shoot up and it was too late, good news, pulled the head to check the cylinder walls and pistons everything seems okay, i dropped the oil pan anc hanged my oil filter, there were very minimal porcelain pieces , but im ordering some parts, again, another head gasket and studs, i jsut siwtched to MLS the one i ahd for my build, but im not quite ready for my build
but ohh well, ill monitor my guage a little better this time, and yes i am running a wideband

We could fix this by staggering the size of injectors.
When we flow match injectors some flow more they can be put in the leaner cylinders

yah man drivers side is stupid, i decided to go faerther i pulled the motor today, and began my strip down, gonna order up new pistons and rods, im saying screw it i dont wanna take a chance,
my afr was running 16.3 SO TO ME i was getting up there, i have not tuned my afr properly yet, but thats why i have a wideband, but when i blew the spark plug and shot flames, my afr spiked to 18.1 in a blink of an eye,,
how would a guy monitor afr over each cylinder, could a guy monitor right off each cylinder, right off the header , i know it sounds expensive but for tunning a guy a could go that far, and it would give a great idea for tunning, and make it easier for that perfect afr

p0304 had something come apart in the head of cyl 4. fixed under warranty.
just threw the p0101, problem with the maf, not going to be fixed under warranty since i have an aftermarket intake. gonna have to get a new maf on my own.
yah, i knwo 16.3 is not healthy as i said, normally it was baout 13.5, and when i punched it it hit 16.5 and backfired, and when ti backfire dit hit 18.1 this was in the matter of 2 seconds
