Look, I gave you the schematic so you could do the mod up at the terminals 51 and 64 of the PCM (connector C2- the middle one) and not have to expose/access the MAF itself.
You DO know there are TWO ends on a wire right??!
Maybe ease up a little on people that are trying to help you out- or you wont last long around here!

WopOnTour is correct though... Its going to be alot easier for you to splice into the wire near the PCM...

Quick question. Who is using this MAF translator and is having success? Everything I know about GM PCMs tells me this device will only temporarily work until the PCM adjusts its learned trim cells.

Has anyone actually seen with a wideband O2 sensor this device work past the first week or so?

Actualy they have been working fine for many years. When addding bigger injectors the stock PCm will try to learn out the extra fuel in closed loop. We use the MAFT to compensate and bring the fuel trims back to zero or close. In open loop we can then add extra fuel. If you nbeed more info call me 586 790 4406

Yea, I do not believe the Ebay "SuperChip" that this thread is referring to is a "MAF Translator" as you are inferring. This $20 item is just a fixed 0.10 cent resistor that taps to the IAT sensor circuit within the MAF (not something that is influencing MAF frequencies like the MAFT and others)

So this device is not useful for tuning AF ratios other than 14:1, correct?

No that is incorrect. you can tune air/fuel ratio ti whatever you want when the computer is not in learn more (wot) at idle or cruise you would not WANT anything but 14.7 and if you change injectors this will be WAY off and the computer will be trying to adjust. With the MAFT you can correct the fuel trims back where they should be in closed loop operation and also get you wot fueling (open loop) whereever you want it
