Air Intake Temps

Just got my Interceptor gauges installed. Drove around to get the car warmed up.
89* outside, ~100*F IAT1, ~170*F IAT2.
See a problem?

Do you mean IAT (intake air temp) Even that your IAT1 is high are you using the stock intake?? My intake air temp is in within 1 or 2 degrees of ambient air temp. My IAT2 is within 15 to 25 degrees of IAT.

I thought it looked weird. Thanks. I have the RAW 3" CAI... with the occasional lean code.

I'll have to look into the pump. Hopefully that fixes it. If not, I have parts on order.

I just intstalled the opt B with the dual pass and I'm lucky to see a 40F swing in temps between IAT1 and IAT2. I know my pump is working. Is there something wrong still???

Ya, if your temps are that high, you might have the hoses routed incorrectly.

That'll do what? The install instructions told me that they needed to be moved around....

Moved 'em according to the instructions.

I finished installing ZZPs Stage 3 Heat exchanger, Dual pass endplate, and option b. Used Dex-col, distilled water (50/50), and Water Wetter. Drove around this morning and i'm still seeing about 60 degree differance....
I'm pretty sure the pump is bad, just not entirely dead yet. Any thoughts?

Outside temps and humidity play a big part too. When i installed mine i didn't notice a huge difference in temps. Bit cooler on the highway. The biggest thing was when i had my foot into it the temps would climb a bit slower and recover super fast
