I was driving home last night and my Check engine soon light came on. when i got home i popped the hood and hear a loud hissing. as i looked close i noticed the noise coming from somewhere around the supercharger.

Now will the warranty cover that?
and another thing i bought the car from a private seller. so does the warranty cover the car even tho im not the original owner?

 

as long as your not modded it should if it is in the warrnaty he bought like 3 year 36k or something

 

they probably won't say anything as long as it's still within the terms of the warrenty. as long as it's not leaking because you did something stupid to it you should be fine.

 

i bought it from a DM for GM. He had the stage 2 put on by the dealer. so that sound be good.
what do i do just take it to the dealer? do i need any documentation?!

Anyone know how much the supercharger gasket runs and where i could get one?

 

nah just make an appointment and take it in. they may not even ask about the mods. if someone doesn't really know what they're looking at, they wouldn't even know if was a stage 2 or not. unless they look at the pulley and know that the blue bolts are stage 2. but they probably won't say anything. even if they do, stage 2 wouldn't do anything to the warrenty.

the gasket between the supercharger and the manifold failed. Covered By the Warranty.
