Allshot is Back........................ With New Mods

While I was unable to log in Me and a couple of friends put on my new pulley. I got a zzp hub system running a 2.6 pulley. The install went well and I didnt have to machine the snout. Thanks to Mike, Ethan, and Brian for helping out with the install. And a thanks has to go to Witt for helping out with the tune Im hoping to get the blower ported and I would also like to run Meth. Here are some pics.

Here is a pic of us hard at work

Im the one on the left with the blue shirt on. The tensioner got stripped so we were trying to figure out a way to get the belt back on.

We tried a vice grip but because I had to put on a larger tensioner pulley it wouldnt fit..... So we used the 15mm and had soneone else push down on the tensioner to try and get some slack. It was a pain in the ass but it worked.

Your right, far over spinning the blower, creating much more heat, and loosing top end power is MUCH better than the 2.6"

Dude, stop hating if you cant afford it, dont hate on it. Im sorry you didnt get a 2.5 in the first place and now cant afford it. I have had both a 2.6 and a 2.5 which you have not. I can tell you the car feels MUCH faster and the torque is deff there, and both people that have gotten close to putting down 300whp has been on 2.5 and meth, So stop man. U still my bud tho. lol.

Mattyfinch (294 whp) had a 2.6"
06blackg85ss (296 whp) had a 2.55"

I don't know what your talking about with the "can't afford it" statement. I'm about to drop $300+ on tranny mounts and a billet motor mount. I may have been broke in the past, but I have my money situation under control. You should think before blurting stuff out

I'm glad we can still be buds though

Yours too, eh? Mine did the same thing when I put on my 2.79. Now, I am unsure how I can go smaller in the future.

What did you do to get it back on?

Use a vice grip. JUst make sure you put it on there real tight so it doesnt slip. I would have used one but the damn oversized tensioner pulley was blocking it.

With a 2.79 it should. If you want to go with a 2.7 I would get the oversized tnsioner pulley from intense. Its only 20 bucks.

shiot, i guess i might have too. O well. I bought a light weight 2.8 and a 2.7 pulleys. I bought the 2.8 so i could run it with stage 2 and not worry about tunning. But the 2.7, 60's and harness i bought are waiting for my sorry ass to buy hptuners.
