yea i saw, its not bad, but i would have wetsanded them with 2,000 grit sandpaper, then cleared the **** out of them. Then i would have wetsanded the clear if there were any sags and then polished them with a 3m scratch remover.

btw is the triangular mount the tranny mount? just want to confirm this since i dont want to spend more on an extra solid tranny mount.

dont know if u tune urself (seen u have some knowledge in it) but these cause alot of false knock..

and the very top one in the pic is the upper passenger side engine mount and the one off to the right is the front lower and the left one is the tranny one....this is 3 out of the 4 mounts but no one (to my knowledge) makes the 4th one

i already tune my adders out already (1.2 ms). I have a pretty stout formula for my histograms. Infact one is so complex hptuners ***** itself when i make a combination formula.

I wish we could use scripting for the histograms.

thanks for adding in on the convo, and if u want i can send you some of my formulas i use for narrowband tuning that work awesome for a DD (commute) + WOT for power. I know your well respected and would love the critique.

however i use regular hptuners and compare to my lc1 logs for WOT.

I do continual tuning ruter and I'm always interested in learning and observing how others do it.
So if I may how do you tune out your false knock. I just went to poly transmission mounts and was wondering that. Thanks I appreciate all the help!

Using Dynamat is the only thing I've ever heard of doing. http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...ategory_Code=T

I don't have any false knock with mine. TTR engine mount and Prothane tranny inserts

The one under the fuse box no one makes. BWoody makes quality stuff.

Might want to check these out: They are rated #1 on recent polls on the cobalt forums, and do not cause "false knock" like the Bwoody ones have known to do.

I've got the bwoody set for the rl and love them, one of the best mods for the car period. I haven't seen wheel hop yet since putting them on (although that might change if the car had something better than cheap street tires on). They do vibrate alot especially with the ac on but you get used to it really fast. It doesn't even bother me anymore, oh and they make the car shift a lot more confidently

I have the billet poly mounts from ZZP and I love them. Installed easy, look great, and work really good. After a drive, I feel all relaxed cause its like sitting in a massage chair while you drive

First Bwoody is not a vendor here.... Nor did we slam them, we "re" stated they cause "false knock" which another member stated.

Second, we are just stating another option for members that have had both and stated in the poll the TTR ones were rated much higher.

TurbotechRacing has never "slammed" another vendor on this site. TTR is one of the upmost respected vendors on here.
