Anyone running a 2.4 pully?
Hey, advantage being, at that boost you'd only need it to run 10 secs to get down the track lol what kind of horsepower would 160 psi even make? that's rediculous...just rediculous. that'd be like stage
lol
2:45 and on...this would be the result lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCc3SOcNGxY
a well cooled 2.6 shuld be faster than a 2.8 right?
im asking this because it was mentioned that the fastest m62 setup for the ss/sc was a 2.8

It sure would...
think of it like this..
2 cars.. trap at the same exact speed (for comparison purposes)... one witha 2.6 and other with a 2.8.
The 2.6 will get going to its top speed quicker than the 2.8 (thanks to more torque).
the 2.6 will win the race.

If it was that easy we'd all be running every cooling mod available and a 1 inch pulley.
the engine would prolly pull one of these

but it would be sweet as hell, for about 3.2 seconds

back in the day when these cars first came out, some people were running 2.3 inch pulleys. i think pulley boys sold them but i guess you might understand why they dont sell them anymore. lol
