Guy said this was an inertia dyno, so idk what the load was.
Chris Dembowski (streetdreamz) tuned it, 12.5, 12* timing advance I think.

wow, your timing is low, that's the explanation for the craptastic numbers. advance the timing till you see some knock and then back it off 1 degrees. With methanol, you should be able to get over 20 degrees advanced easy.

Streetdreamz? lol. 12.5 is to lean. 12.0 would be the highest I'd shoot for. Mid 11's would be a lot more ideal.
He pulled timing to get rid of knock at 12.5 afr. If he would have went for 11.5 afr, he could have ran more timing and got better number because the timing is making up for the slower burn speed of the air/fuel mixture being richer.

12.5 is good for the most power, might even be able to go a tad leaner, but at the same time, it's definitely not a safe tune. The low timing advance is the reason for the low numbers though.

These motors seem to more prone to knock due to the heaton. A richer air/fuel would allow more timing making better numbers.

methanol isn't a band-aid, or atleast it isnt supposed to be used as one. its an efficient cooling tool and if tuned properly, can yield decent power increases. I have tuned several SS/SC on methanol. they all like about 23-24 degrees of timing up top, and high 11s AFR.
Thats not the greatest idea in the world. atleast run 70% meth / 30% water.

Chad your estimates on the numbers are way off lol. Your car will peak at 11.8 given your lack of dual pass and bigger heat exchanger. Your timing will peak at 22 with the alky. We know your car was heat soaked on the dyno because you were out beating on it 20 minutes before the car was strapped on the dyno.

Lol I had no idea this thread even existed!
2 days before the dyno his car was pulling a good 8 degrees of timing due to pure heat from IAT2s soaring over 180. He needs a dual pass endplate and he knows it. Otherwise the car is tuned for about 22 degrees advanced on a COLD COLD day that will keep his temps down to 140-150ish.
