Anyone think of a foam filter intake?
Anyone think of a foam filter intake?
Like the title says, foam filters offer far better flow characteristics, and filtration over the thin cotton oiled filters, however as foam gets dirty its flow drastically gets reduced...but its incredibly easy to clean, as simple as putting it in the sink and washing all the dirt out and letting it dry.
reason for bringing this up is with the complaints from people saying the oiled filters damage teh sensors on the cobalt, then gm not covering it, i think foam is the way to go!

no you dont, foam itself is the dirt blocker, dirtbike is different, the conditions you ride through, but foam filters dont need oiling, you simply put it under water and literally squeeze the dirt out like a sponge.
i apologize, foam filters are oiled as well, lol
but here is a quick test i pulled up, cant verify the numbers however
