Anyone tried this

Anyone tried this to get rid of the crush bends and choke point by the rear axel. Looks like it would be a good way to start your own custom exhaust .

yes i have and i have it on my car...had to replace the 2.25" piece that's by the rear tire to a 2.5" so i have a full 2.5" exhaust on stock muffler..sounds nice and deep

I'm thinking about getting rid of the 2.25 and going bigger . Wish i could keep the GMPP touring muffler and resonator in a 2.5 custom system cause i love this catback's sound .

I bet a decent exhaust shop could just fab something up for you out of pipe stock and replace the crush points in the catback.
