Ariel Atom with Hahn super20G turbo conversion
I just read through the first page before I felt so compelled to post... not that I don't love my SS/SC, but why in the world do you not have the K20 in there? A mild build, the stock valvetrain can handle a substantial bit...9,000 RPM's will suffice with a GT35 and call it a night? Your powerband would be a lot better for your usage, don't you think?

I think they are very comparable engines for the Atom. They require a bit different driving style. The K20 needs the driver to keep in high RPM's to get the power. with the flat torque curve on the ecotec there is power at any RPM.
The flat torque curve does make for easier driving of such a light car. The power is even what ever RPM you are at.
I like that Honda supports the Atom wiht the hondametalism ads:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUsDi8Aqjes&hl=en
And GM could have cared less about the car and in the end did not provide much support
All the Atom 3's that are now in production will be honda based. the 100 or so ecotec Atoms are the last of their kind.
The K20 wasn't an option for me when I bought the Atom. very few were available at a hefty premium (like $20k more). So I went with the ecotec

The car is all put back together and made an appearance at an Atom club meet. Just need to dyno and finish the tune. Here is my build team at Unique Fabricating that got it done. I finally get the car back tomorrow!

How about 15" wide formula atlantic slicks?

I finally got the car home today and was able to take a quick spin around the block. The paddle shifter is very cool. You can shift from reverse to 5th through all the gears in about 1 second if you can click the paddles fast enough.
My friend is starting the tune process. Hopefully I can get it out driving soon!

You my good sir have:
A. Way too much money to play with. I'm actually taking donations for the "I-also-want-a-Atom-TC" fund.
B. A sick car that you need school fools with.
C. Keys in your possession that should be in mine.
But then again....I love my pookums.
