Average WHP

I plan on buying an LSJ soon and getting rid of my 2.2L, and i was wondering whats the normal whp for a cobalt with Stage 2 package, GM performance header, and Injen intake.

Just trying to get a ballpark figure.

ok because the guy says it has 265hp and I'm thinking that's kinda high, but to the wheels maybe it is 240 I'm not real familiar with the lsj's so that's why I'm asking

And if you go with Full exhaust is closer to 250. So thats going to be a big change going from a 2.4.

Well I'd use the headers and dp i have on my car and sell that GM header, and maybe use my exhaust or get another because I junked my stock exhaust so the one on my car is basically going to go with my car when i sell it. So around 240whp. I wish the guy would have some pictures of the car. Just some info about it

i had much lower #s from my local dyno.

even with CAI, exhaust, methanol, h/e, 2.8, aggressive as hell tune, i made 255 whp.

stage 2 + CAI + H/E netted me 232 whp.

stock was 203 whp

Well the guy selling says it got the gm header and an intake on top of the stage 2package. Just trying to get numbers straightened out so when he calls back I can be like bullshit let me see some dyno sheets.

The GM header might as well not be on there. It really doesn't make enough difference. Don't let him use that to justify whatever price hes selling at.

expect 235 real-world whp.

Shops can modify a bit to make their dyno's happier for the customer so they will revisit.

its how much he probably owes on it. good mileage.

id give him 12,000 for it realistically and that is if it is in pristine condition. Just nitpick about chipping interior paint, how it squeaks when u drive it, and how cheap it feels. Maybe his rotors warped or the passenger window wont roll down.

just go through all the common issues

"14,900 obo. only has 17,000 miles" Mine is an 07 and almost has 17K miles. Granted mine has more mods, even if it didn't I wouldn't let it go for 15K (yes, I'm aware they sell for crazy cheap). So if you can get the price down a little, cool, if not its still a good price. What year/color?G85?

It's an 07 fully loaded. it doesn't say anything about G85. I called him hopefully he gets back to me later today. I know it got low miles and is only 2 years old but American cars loss value real quick.

This is what KBB said..

Private party

Excellent
$15,820
Good
$15,020
Fair
$13,970

And that it's actually worth (dealer)
Excellent
$17,920

So the price is right, but it won't hurt to try and get it as cheap as you can. Consider a N SRT-4?
