awd twin turbo lsj?

so a guy that i work with is telling me that his friend from Virginia sent him an email saying that he built his LSJ to AWD and twin turbo'd it. now from a logical standpoint i can't see this happening. so personally i think he's bs'ing me. seeing that he won't show me proof. lol

he also claims to be throwing down 825 whp and 9 second quarters.

discuss.

he just said that his buddy updated him on the progress and has since twin turbo'd and dyno'd 825whp.

in all honesty can you even build an lsj up to hold 800whp?

in my mind im thinking there's no way in hell. even built that would be a HUGE order for the block.

maybe im just nuts.

I had someone tell me they had a twin turbo AE85 Toyota corolla straight from factory. It was faster than a porsche. I simply said "cool" and walked away.

How the hell could anyone possibly think there was a twin turbo 4 cylinder out there?!?! Unless its a turbo spooling off of another turbo., but that would be alot of boost tubing, lol. Is there even an AWD setup that Chevy has that will match the LSJ motor? yeaahh.. right.

the block and head can both stand that much power being made without cracking, IF there were the right internals and build done. GM had the 2.2 block crack in half all the way around at i believe 1400 hp, and the head at 1100. Fred from SMG ( supporting vendor ) saw this in person from GM themselves.

Not very logical to stick a twin turbo on a "inline" 4 anyway. It's better to run one big turbo rather than two smaller turbos on an inline.

I've seen it, it was at the chevy display at the indy 500 last year.

He sounds like a good guy. He is going to install the sleeves and everything else to prep the DD block so when it comes back it is ready to build.

I look forward to being able to at least drive the DD as I wait for the project to get done.
