Yah the stock pads are exelent I have done many 140mph to 0 stops and they still work great.

As far as squeaking check to make shure that the tabs that clip it onto the caliper are tight If not gently tap them with a hammer tell the pad fits snugly.

bring it to the dealer...they grinded my rotors and no problems since....something due to rust on the rotors...

i run ebc greenstuff pads and always have on my street vehicles. they have a nasty bite thats not so much that it will eat rotors, never heard a peep from them even on cross drilled and slotted rotors. and there is virtually no dust. a far superior pad to the hawk hps pad imo. i never liked hawk hps pads myself ive always had noise and pad life issues with them.

Before trying to get more out of aftermarket stuff, try steel braided lines, they make a huge difference as well. That was one of the first upgrades I did for my car.

As for my new setup, I'm going to be running Hawk HP Plus pads with Raybestos Professional rotors, so we'll see how they do.

Like Gory said the stock pads work very well even in mild competition. If you want something better and are not afraid to pay call these guys...http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/about.html

I've used their product and I can say they are the best pads I ever used.

I have absolutly boiled mine racing, just smoked them.
I thought I set the back of my car on fire lol.
That was 4 months ago and 6k miles and 20 hard stops from 140/150mph later

I put Dezods pads on my front last night along with my drilled and slotted rotors and all I can say is WOW! The brakes are alot more touchy and it doesn't take much for them to grab! Im really impreased with the breaking performance. Great job Dezod!

I think when I get to the point of doing my breaks, I'll probably go with either the Green Stuff pads or the Dezod... Not sure which yet, but I hear good things about both. I'd also like to do rotors and steel braided lines at the same time... Probably the GMPP rotors (or maybe the powerslot?)

oh hell, I dont know.

The Dezod pads are more compairable to the Hawk HPS and Red stuff pads rather than the green stuff. Ive never had eaither of them but I am extreamly impreased with Dezods pads!
