Best exhaust combo?

Im trying 2 decide what header/cat-back combo 2 use. I know I want the SLP dual exit but which header/DP is best to use with this? I wanted a Full-SLP set-up but I noticed the Vibrant header looks better built since its welded around the cat vs. the SLP which appears 2 use clamps. Which header is best 2 use with the dual 2.5 pipes, a 2.5" or 3" downpipe? 'Preciate the feedback

I have a hook up for the DP around 200 u can get a DP installed. I am biased with xhaust since all i ever had was gmpp performance and 3 ark prototype xaust. pacesetter is carb legal ^_^ and any cat is illegal beside stock since our cars is less than 5-7yrs old not sure of the time frame.

ZZP header dp combo is very nice. Deep, throaty, but not too raspy.

Yeah, im being an outlaw on this 1 . You kno, ive considered a lot of options, mix-match, AM header/custom DP, etc. but I thought aftermarket Head+DP pieces just eliminate all the guess-work. I (do) kno i DON’T want 2 sound ricey, or (chaotic). Sure as **** don’t want the “exhaust leak” sound of things like the YOSH pipes on Hondas-WHY? I want a deep powerful sound and the most efficiency in combination with the SLP 2.5” dual exhaust, if there is such a thing. I know this is only a 2.0L engine but I want a header that will make the best companion to the 2.5in diameter dual pipes. Considering back-pressure, performance, power band, which is best to use with a 2.5in dual exhaust, the 2.5in diameter DP, or a 3in downpipe?

Depends on the header. If you stick with 1.5" primaries then a 2.5" DP will work... BUT most SS/SC applications suggest running 1.75" primaries for increased flow. When running 1.75" primaries however, most people will tell you (I talked to ZZP for weeks deciding) that it is almost paramount to run a 3" DP. The increased flow of 1.75" primaries really needs a larger DP that can match the flow of larger primaries. Hope this helps.

yes it does man, so, my next Q; which is best, 4 to 1 OR 4-2-1 header? Considering its exiting out two 2.5 pipes out back?

I raced a (mustang) cobra? possibly from 1993 A.D. I almost vanquished him but i missed the 4th transmission gear, otherwise i would have secured my victory versus his high decibel internal combustion engine. lol

Every SLP exhaust I've heard for the LSJ is raspy as hell and just plain loud. I would look else where .
