Angry Blew a hole in my flex pipe

i raced a G35 saturday evening on my way to a cobalt meet (going to HIN philly)
I smoked his slow ass, but at a great cost. I blew a half-dollar sized hole in my flex pipe.
I am now forced to purchase another round of mods
ZZP header/dp combo
NGK plugs (1step colder)
SSC springs
and DC strut tower brace

what about your mods?

I have a custom welded in catback... and all my performance mods are aftermarket. not GM.
i don't think they'll fix it. but it really dosent matter... cause i ordered a new one. It'll be here in 3 days.

what? IDK what you mean...

I called ZZP today to confirm my order was recieved... and then i asked about the new header/ dp combo.. he says that i should not have any probs, and it has been redesigned to ensure performance and durability.

anyone know what kind of gains i can expect to see from a ceramic coated header with 2.5" DP?

Also, Tune Time gives me free updates... so would it be worth the hour drive to get it retuned for the added flow?

Congrats on your purchase my friend. Sorry to hear about the original Dp but it seems it all worked out for the best.
As far as gains. Everyone will say something different. I would say about 15whp.

15 seems about right..

I've decided to add 1 more mod to the list... I busted out a visa card they sent me a while back, and activated it, for this:
http://cobalt-addiction.com/performance.htm

probably just gonna run a 35 wet shot and see how she takes it... then possibly move up to 50

zzp makes probably THE BEST "cheaper" aftermarket header , ive had mine for 5 months and its done great , it was like 250 shipped , and it has a 3 in collector instead of 2.25 or 2.5
