Blowing out cats

I have a 05 ss sc gm stage 2 zzp mid length header zzp 3inch dp to 2.5 also have magnaflow 2.5 catback Injen cold air. Currently am unsure if my balt is tuned because the previous owner did the gm stage 2. I think it might be the stock tune i know if it is its doing nothing but hurting my motor. So my question is could this be why im blowing out cats? I have been threw 2 in the last few months 1st was a vibrant high flow and now a zzp and also one flex pipe.

I'm not totally understanding what you're trying to say or ask....

But, the GM stage 2 package comes with a tune. So you are tuned, it's just the GM stage 2. Not a custom one.

Also blowing blackish blue smoke on cold start ups i figure its just running rich on cold starts. Is this correct? Or are my valve guides leakin?

Chances are, it's just due to the cold start. Try letting your car idle and get up to temp, shut it off and restart it. See if it happens again.. There's like a 1% chance of your valve seals leaking.

Maybe it does have the GM stage 2 tune, and you're just running fairly rich.. Because GM stage 2 tunes are pretty rich for safety purposes.. & it's clogging the hell out of your cat

And see this is why it sucks getting a car you didnt install the parts yourself. Then you have no idea what the other person did. Now im just guessing if its tuned or not it sucks not knowing for sure.

Get ZZP's resonator. My car is super quiet catless.

Team ss doesn't tune, he does remote tuning through james(ccss3). I would pm chevycobaltss3 on here. I live in tn too, where are you located?
