Brakes/Rotors

I didn't know where exactly to post this, but I found something that might be worth looking into. I found a site that sells COBALT F&R Slot Drilled Brake Rotors for a good price I believe. Just wanted to share it with everyone and see what there input would be on these before I'd buy them.

Look okay, I just personally would not get drilled rotors. I have had way to many of them crack... Slotted and or slotted and dimpled...

A lot of times on those "life time warranty" deals they state you must buy the pads from them, and also if you have a "warranty claim" to get a new rotor you must get another set of new pads... Plus shipping on the new pads and rotors... There is always a catch...

I would "guess" they would be made in China for that price... USA made rotors are never that cheap (That I have seen)

Yeah, like I said I'm just trying to get as much input as I can from everyone on CSS before I buy them if I do buy them. Thanks for the tips though. Any vendors on here sell slotted/dimpled rotors?

Not sure... I know from what we just carry: EBC and Power Slot are both just slotted...

you carry bear brakes that are drilled, are they the ones you speak of that are known for cracking?

Yes but 2 things: 1 they have been on back order for a year now, and 2 I never suggest them, as they are drilled...

NOT specifically the Baer rotors, but ALL drilled rotors in general tend to have this issue..

These would be an entry level rotor prone to cracking etc, they do offer a lifetime warranty but you have to pay shipping which can be at least 20.00 not to mention you have to have these inspected before they will replace them.

" Have an ASE certified mechanic inspect the brakes and fax us a report of the inspection. If the rotors are found to be warped or cracked, we will send out replacements."
