found like mocha looking oil in my CAI where it connects to the supercharged HELP PLEASE

just take the breather line off... block off the port on the intake... and put a steel mesh breather filter on the back end of the valve cover...



works just fine... hasn't caused a single problem yet...

that works too.

but that assumes everything that comes out of the valve cover is gasseous......

^^ yah. u got a point...the only reason that thing is in there is for emissions...but being in an emissions testing state / county...i have to have it

we test for emissions here in NC too... I haven't had a problem... I've been running this setup for a while... and haven't seen any evidence of liquid buildup anywhere around the filter... or oily residue anywhere in the engine bay (believe me, I'd notice).

All that comes out of that port is a very fine oily mist... which collects inside the breather tube and eventually makes it back around to the SC. With the breather filter on... it just evaporates... it gets hot enough under there not to cause any problems.

as long as you check it regularly i can see that working.

all in all, as long as your doing something to keep that **** outta the intake, i think its better for the car.

Even though yours costs more up front, I spend more down the road replacing that damn breather filter.
