CA Tration Bars?

I was just on the Cobalt Addiction site and i saw traction bars for sale on there and was wondering about them. I dont think i have ever seen anyone on here use them, are they worth it and have an effect on the wheel hop?

They work. Easy to install. But a good set of rotated trans mounts will do the same thing. You should really consider trans mounts anyways if your gonna be hitting the track some.

I would look into mounts but im not goin to the track or anything, and im worried about the install. What exactly do these traction bars do and are there noticable changes in stiffness?

Traction bars + stage 2 rotated mounts = no hop. Now i gotta do something about all this wheel spin. 255/35/18s coming soon!

On the street, traction bars alone will eliminate hop. On the track you will need mounts too.

The install is easy man. Just pop a hole in the control arm and use existing holes in the sub frame and it bolts right up. Tighten the arms down and there ya go

I had them on my car untill i had to sell it... I still miss her but anyway they did a great job for me. they make the steering feel tighter and the wheel hop is gone but you still get alittle at the track.
