im new to the world of car mods and such. Id like to get an Injen CAI some time soon, however i live in montreal. That means lots of rain in spring/fall and a bunch of snow in winter. Is there a danger to puttin on a CAI since water might get in there and freeze up?

 

I have one, no problems yet...!! its covered up pretty good with the slash shield...!

 

Yea the splash shield is a good thing to use or the sleeve that k&n provides.

 

Is there a way to buy the shelid cover that K&N sells and put it on an INJEN? ??

 

You mean the sleeve that goes over the k&n, check ebay maybe, or the classified section. I'm sure it will fit if you can find one, filters are the same size.

 

Injen has there own cover called hydrashield, i put one on mine and no problems
