What did you guys do about your downpipe's did you have them custom made. This looks like a well made header and seems like a great buy. The only catch i see is i think you have to go custom on the downpipe so i don't know how much that would cost. Any info would be wonderful thanks.
This is a great header, one of the best out in my opinion. Great quality, performance gains, and price. I have the XTC DP w/ Cat and had to do some minor fabrication to it to get it to work. It really isn't that bad. I think Blown-4-Banger has the Pacesetter as well and he didn't have to do any fabrication with his, not 100% sure on that though, but you could ask him.
i have the header with a custom dp and you can buy the downpipe from the guy that made mine for like 200.00 US. Check him out at exhaustdepot.com
never mind it's 215.00

You don't have to cut the header! The header comes with a ball joint (not my favorite) but if you put it on right it won't leak. You put the ball joint thing on, and it leaves a 3" pipe coming off the header, weld the DP to this pipe. Mine hasn't leaked once in the 4+ months I've had the header

Sorry to thread jack but i had a few questions about the pacesetter header that seem relavent.
1. What is the benefit of ceramic over stainless?
2. Does it throw a code?
3. Can i run it on the stock downpipe until i can afford to get a custom one?
4. How does it sound?

X2..
ceramic I believe won't give off as much heat in the engine bay.
no it doesn't throw a code.
no, a pacesetter header won't bolt up to the stock downpipe.
mind sounds real rumbly on the stock exhaust, and I have a catless dp. I think it sounds good.
bravo for using the search tool!!!
