Cam timing effect?

Done some searching, but found no usefull hard info on this:

The LSJ and L61 basically use the same cam profiles, but at different timing:
The 2006MY L61 cams can interchange with LSJ cams, both intake and exhaust. These cams are the exact same profile, only at different timings. The 2006MY L61 timings are 116 intake, -103 exhaust. The LSJ timings are 100 intake, -115 exhaust.

Question is related to our European supercharged 2,2's (=L61) which gained significant power by using Comp blower cams. Don't hear of much power gains from aftermarket cams on the LSJ (consensus seems that stock LSJ cams are pretty good), so maybe it's because the L61 OEM cam timing is just not optimal for SC use??

Changing cam timing will also effect the dynamic compression; LSJ intake profile closes 16° earlier, so will have a higher dyn compr than the L61 cam, correct?

edit: Will change in timing just effect the powerband rpm (lsj lower, L61 higher)? On supercharged cars it's recommended to minimize overlap, so what about using the LSJ Exh + L61 inl cam timing?

Expert info needed please...
