i ordered a et of GM Racing Cams, and got them ground to 272. Now the problem is, they are the cams off of the 2.2l, IS THE LONG CAMSHAFT THE INTAKE OR THE EXHAUST CAM??

You can still use em. You just can't use the cam position sensor, and then just take like 3 minutes to start the car EVERY time.

If he blocks off the back oil passage where the cam sensor is, and also gets a plate made rather than using the cam sensor, he will actually be in good shape.

But his car is never going to start on first crank again.

Hardly 3 minutes... More like ~5 seconds.
