Exclamation Can anyone answer this?

I want to buy a used stage 2 kit. The guy said that he does m=not have the calibration. I was wondering if i install this myself can gm still calibrate it without the calibration for that spacific kit?

Im not 100%, But i dont think they can, Im pretty sure the calibration has you vin in it and stuff.

I would buy the kit and get a custom tune if its cheap.

But you wont have the warranty you would with stage 2.

And by time you spend all that money you could buy OTTP stage 1 and make more power

Just ask someone with a stage 2 if they still got the Cal code and copy it and give it to the dealer

You can not get the flash done without the vci number. Even if you had it it is vin spacific. I tried a long time ago to have my friend that works at gm to get me a vci number and the only way to get it is to buy the kit from gm.

if you get a canned tune like i am. i did plenty of research and you will need a crank relearn whether a engine code pops up or doesnt

This is what you are going to need if you want the GM flash. The CAL code is only good once and then it is vin specific.
