I was looking at bltz computer for the ss and i wanted to know if or cars mean the 2.0 has a can-bus computer system

All 2005 and new GM vehicles are on a Can system

 

No communication between scan tool and ecm or bcm. I checked for voltage between can-bus pins and ground but do not get the 2.5 voltage I am supposed too. Also the ohms between the two can bus pins I have been told should be near 60 and I only get 12 to 15 on my meter, can anyone help please I am not sure where to go next.

 

Usually if your scan tool isn't reading through the obdII check cigarette lighter fuse. I don't know if that's what you mean or not.

Only other thing I can think of is the silver box under the rear deck on mine had a bare wire that was grounding it's self out. Only found it because when I drove to new Jersey to get tuned a long time ago the hp tuner wasn't reading a connection and gremlin suggested I looked there. It was odd to, because the wire was bare over 6 inches and had to be from the factory. Mines a 2010. I don't know if you have this or not.
