Put a gm stage 3 pully on a gm stage 2 tune?

The pully isnt that much smaller.

I dont remember ever getting a real anwser to this.

 

No you would need a tune switching from a 3 inch pully to a 2.8 will add more boost and you will need a tune to compensate for the needed fuel. It would not be smart that and 2.8 on 42# injectors I have heard of people doing but I myself would not as your 4th cylinder will not like getting starved.

 

A stage 3 pully is not a 2.8 though. Its almost the same as the stage 2 one.

 

I ran stage 3 pulley on gms2 it's a 2.99 pulley compared to 3.065 I believe, perfectly fine!
